Which Way Are You Leaning?

Which way is your life leaning? Do you lean on your own wisdom?

I heard this simple, yet profound statement in church on Sunday:
A tree always falls in the direction that it is leaning.

That principle not only applies to trees, but  to our lives as well. If we are leaning on our own wisdom, we will fall on our own wisdom. That doesn’t sound very hopeful, does it? There is a better way! We don’t have to fall. We can stand!
